MO suspended, NHM employees terminated for dereliction of duty in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Aug 7: Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today suspended a Medical Officer and ordered termination of NHM employees posted at PHC Chatroo for dereliction of duty.
As per spokesperson of district administration, the action was initiated after ADDC filed his report on the enquiry ordered by the DC on the complaint that on August 3, 2018 maximum staff at PHC Chatroo was found absent during working hours and one lady brought in injured condition was denied treatment without any reason.
Based on the preliminary enquiry, the DC Kishtwar terminated the services of Sanjeev Sharma, Lab Tech and Mohammad Ishaq, ISM Dawasaaz engaged under NHM and recommended termination of a permanent Jr X-Ray Technician, Sunil Kumar under Article 128 CSR, to the administrative department. "Dr Shafqat Javeed Zargar I/C Medical Officer PHC Chatroo was suspended for allowing nine employees to go on leave thus affecting health care delivery system in PHC," the spokesman said. Meanwhile, the DDC ordered Deputy CMO Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir to look after the work of BMO Chatroo in addition to his own duties.
