He was responding to the complaint of the members of a deputation from village Jath of Akhnoor who raised the issue of encroachment on the local nallah in their area here during the weekly public redress camp.

Interacting with the deputation of Education employees, the Advisor said that the department is soon going to organize a teachers Conclave to discuss and find solution for filling gaps in the state's education system. He said top educationists and academicians will be invited at the conclave to give suggestions for evolving a holistic and robust education system.
Responding to the issue of water scarcity raised by various deputations including MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta, the Advisor asked the PHE department to explore the possibility of rainwater harvesting to compensate the shortage in water stressed areas.
