POONCH, Aug 8: The rains that haunted people of Poonch for the past 3 days have led to rise of water level in rivers.
Sukka Katha which is mostly found roaring during the rainy season has swelled posing threats to life and property.
Influential people first encroach the flood prone areas and then construct buildings over it and the results are obvious, said locals.
They demanded m inquiry by DDC. They also sought stern action against those who construct buildings on river beds and Sukka Kattha. |
