KISHTWAR, Aug 8: CVPP Project Affected Local Area Committee held meeting at Dool in which Sudhar Labour Union Palmar, Dacchan & Marwah representatives were also present at Power House Site Dul Kishtwar.
Representatives of Sudhar Labour Union Palmar,Dachan and Marwah led by Ashwani Parihar and Mashood Mattoo held a meeting with Farooq Tapal and Subash Chander of Project Affected Local Area Committee Dul area and in one voice have decided to fight for the rights and cause of locals of both the areas jointly. In the meeting it was decided that already projected demands of providing jobs to Land Rehabilitants of Arzi Village if not adjusted within two days the Committee will stop all the ongoing works of the project. The Committee has also requested AFCONS Management to provide all the basic facilities to workers as per Labour Laws and further said to implement the demands already projected in the memorandum presented to AFCONS Management. |
