Kathua, Aug 8: Students of Kartar Public School, Barnoti have won laurels at the Inter District State Level Sports Meet conducted at Kargil recently by winning several medals in Karate. The Meet was organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports. Four students won the Gold, namely Rahil Sharma (Under 19 - Boys), Pallavi Rajput and Arshleen Kaur (Under 14 - Girls) and Tanish Basotra (Under 14 - Boys). Five students won Silver medals; Amanjot Singh (Under 19 - Boys), Yogesh Sharma and Ayush Sharma (Under 17 Boys), Gaurav Mehra and Chitresh Bhagat (Under 14-Boys). Harpreet Singh won the Bronze in under 19 Boys' category.
The school's Chairman, Er. Nirmaljit Singh applauded the victorious students and advised all the students to hone their skills equally well in academics and sports. |
