| Accused teacher's photographs with top NC leaders go viral | | Playway school sexual abuse case | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 13: Photographs of a teacher, who has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing playway school kids in a Jammu School, with some noted leaders of the National Conference, have gone viral on social media.
The viral photographs show accused teacher Sanjeev Dewan with top National Conference leaders. In one of the photograph, accused can be seen with National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah's brother Dr Mustafa Kamal.
However, Early Times couldn't ascertain the authenticity of these photographs independently.
Sources claimed that the accused teacher is an office bearer of National Conference and enjoys the support of top leadership. The viral photographs will certainly put the Omar Abdullah led National Conference into an embarrassing situation as it hasn't yet initiated any action against him neither has disowned the accused.
National Conference reportedly has roped in a female lawyer to lead charge against the establishment over the rising incident of rape and molestation in Jammu but these photographs are set to put the party at back foot.
Pertinent to mention, last week Playschool sexual abuse case came to limelight after a family lodged compliant with police alleging that their 3 year old kid was sexually abused by a teacher and that the management was trying to hush-up the case.
Police finally registered an FIR under Section 354 against the accused teachers and arrested them. They were identified as Romit Sawhney, Sanjeev Dewan and Rajesh Gaind. |
