| SSA Teachers stage protest demonstration | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 20: All Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-E-Taleem Teachers Forum (AJKRETTF) for pressing their demands staged protest demonstration in front of district administrative complex, here today.
Protesters raised slogans in favour of their demands and against the department. Protestors blamed state government for not keeping their promise and commitment made regarding streamlining of salary of teachers working under SSA, release of monthly salary and reimbursement pending arrears of regularized RET teachers.
They demanded that the salary of all SSA teachers should delinked from centre government and linked to state government as they are the employees of state government.
They further said that state government and authority of education department are taking advantage of our keeping mum and by making the ReT teachers to believe that they have been recruited teachers by taking mercy on them. That is why the ministers and officer is applying pressure tactics.
They said that their regularization and time bound promotions has not been given to them till date. They threatened that if their demands were not fulfilled they will lock all the schools across the state. |
