Jammu, Aug 20: Inter School District Level Tournament for Boys U/19 yrs in the sports discipline of Football, Basketball for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu concluded today here at GGM Science College, M.A stadium Jammu respectively. In all 368 boys were drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District are took part in the competitions. The competitions were organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the said tournament. The main objective of the competitions was to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level Competitions. Today's Result Basket Ball U/19 yrs Boys, 1st Semi Final: APS Akhnoor beat J.P World by 25-16, 2nd Semi final: MHAC nagbani beat DPS by 38-28, Final: APS Akhnoor beat MHAC Nagbani by 46-30. Result football U/19 yrs boys, 1st Match: Heritage Pb. School beat SRML via tie braker 4-3, 2nd Match: K.C International beat G.D Goenka by 1-0, 3rd Match: APS Kaluchak beat MHAC Nagbani by 1-0, 1st Quarter Final: BSF Paloura beat Govt. HSS Bakshi Nagar by 3-0, 2nd Quarter Final: Jodhamal beat Heritage by 2-0. |
