Reasi, Aug 20: A government doctor posted at Primary Health Center, Pouni here is accused of referring the PHC patients to his private clinic next door for treatment and conduction of tests. A delegation of locals led by Balwinder Kumar said the doctor referred his ailing daughter for tests to his private clinic in the vicinity though the PHC was supposed to offer the facilities.
"These doctors are fleecing the patients for their personal gains. Though the matter was time and again brought to the notice of the concerned including BMO and CMO, no action was taken against the erring doctors," the locals said.
They said the doctors and paramedics were using the PHC for their personal benefits which is to refer them to private facilities.
"The frauds are being done at the behest of BMO and CMO who are party to the unethical medical practices," the locals alleged.
They appealed Governor NN Vohra to personally look into the matter. |
