| Teachers celebrate Eid without salary | | | Early Times Report
RAMNAGAR, Aug 22: The General Line Teachers of Zone Ramnagar celebrated Eid without salary this year as they have not been paid their salary from last three months.
As per press statement issued here, it states that the teachers falling in Zone Ramnagar of district Udhampur are very much harassed now days. They were deprived of their salaries from last two to three months. Even, the State Government had already announced payment of August salary to the employees before Eid. Such a move has not been made for the Teachers of Zone Ramnagar who have not been paid their salary.
It further states that in the month of July the Teachers of Zone Ramnagar held a one day protest at CEO Office Udhampur against the autocratic behaviour of DDO zone Ramnagar but no action was taken against him by the higher authorities of school education department. The teachers of Zone Ramnagar told them It is due to the inefficiency of DDO Zone Ramnagar and also said that their Zonal Education Office works smoothly up-to 31st March, 2018, but when new officer assumed the charge of DDO zone Ramnagar, they were deprived of their salaries and DDO always busy in hitting controversies every day.
They appeal to the Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) to transfer the DDO powers of Zone Ramnagar to some other officer or appoint new Zonal officer as early as possible otherwise the teachers of Zone Ramnagar going to launch an agitation against the irresponsible behaviour of DDO Zone Ramnagar. |
