JAMMU, Aug 22: Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday strongly condemned stone pelting on security forces after Eid prayers in Kashmir valley.
Addressing media persons here, Shri Ram Sena J&K State President Rajiv Mahajan categorically said that stone pelting is gift of ousted PDP-BJP Govt which without applying mind released 11,000 chronic stone pelters against national interests and peace and prosperity of State. He said that by releasing the stone pelters PDP-BJP Government had done a big blunder adding that by this act of the government only boosted the morale of stone pelters who were real enemy of humankind and on the other side was demoralizing for security forces. Mahajan said that stone pelting after Eid prayers shows that stone pelters don't deserve any sympathy and they must be identified immediately and should be put behind bars for at least five years by imposing PSA on them. Mahajan further demanded that government should formulate a strategy to ensure safety of Amarnath pilgrims and smooth running of Amarnath Yatra and warned State Govt to deal with militants and chronic stone-pelters with iron hand.
He maintained that situation in Kashmir will not improve until and unless these stone-pelters and their sympathizers are put behind bars for a considerable time so that they remember for the rest of their life that what is the cost of throwing stones on our brave security personals.
