Ex Dir Info condemns attack on Dr Frooq Abdullah

Jammu, Aug 23: Ex Director Information J&K in a statement from USA has condemned the attack on former Chief Minister J&K, presently M P from Srinagar Dr Abdullah on chanting the slogan of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" in a congregation while paying homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee .Dr Farooq Abdullah was attacked on the auspicious occasion of Eid at Hazratbal Shrine by the anti national and subversive forces supported by our enemy country Pakistan. Singh said that the terrorists didn't view even the sentiments of the people on the pious day and killed the three innocent persons in the Valley. He added that if some persons were opposed to Dr Abdullah they should have protested outside the religious place or from some political forum. He further said that patriotism of Dr Abdullah should not be doubted because his father Sher e Kashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah and his party decided to remain with India. However, Union Government should deal sternly with such forces who are bent upon to disturb the peace and prosperity of the state and country, Singh added.
