| Illegal construction on state land demolished | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 25: The team of Revenue officials lead by Tehsildar Kishtwar Shokat Hayat Mattoo today demolished illegal structures during demolition drive in the vicinity of Kishtwar town.
As per the details available with Early Times, Tehsildar Kishtwar Shokat Hayat Mattoo along with Naib Tehsildar Subhash Chander Badyal and Patwari Halqa Kishtwar Molvi Javed Iqbal demolished two illegal structures near Wasser Kund area.
Speaking to Early Times, the concern officials said that the people were ask to remove the illigal construction on state land on its own, but they did not remove the same forcing the authorities to act against the illigal encroachments. He said that the drive in coming days against encroachment on state and forest land will remain continue.
It is pertinent to mention here that the demolition drive is being carried out as per the directions of Honble High Court of J & K.
SHO Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani along with his team was also present during the demolition drive lead by Tehsildar Kishtwar. |
