One day awareness cum demonstration programme held

JAMMU, Aug 25: One day Awareness cum demonstration programme held at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 02, Cantonment Area Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu.
The event held under the able guidance of Muneer Ahmad Khan, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards, Civil Defence and SDRF J&K and close supervision of Anita Pawar, Dy.SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness camp the students/teaching staff were given the knowledge of First Aid, (CPR, Chocking, Snake bite) and Fire Fighting by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion, Anita Pawar, Dy.SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence organization and shared her views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during earthquake and disaster management.
Bharat Bhushan, Principal of School highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the staff and instructors for organized a important awareness cum demonstration programme. At least 400 students and teaching staff attended the awareness programme.
Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden and Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu were also present on the occasion.
