A cylinder full of gas carried without observing safety measuees puts life to risk especially when the vehicle carrying them moves in highly populated areas. As per the agreement between the LPG outlet and the customers , the company is bound to deliver the LPG cylinder to homes of the consumers but instead they refill the cylinder and handover it to the consumers and the consumers after carrying it on publuc teansport. Locals while talking to Early Times said that it's a daily routine of the Mini Buses operators. They said they carry the gas cylinder in Mini Buses for just a few rupees and endanger human lives. As per Section 336 of Indian Penal Code whoever endangers life can be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two hundred and fifty rupees, or with both.
