Five dental clinics sealed

Kishtwar, Aug 27: As a part of state vide crackdown, the team of Jammu and Kashmir State Dental Council comprises of Dr. Waseem Malik, Dr. Sajjad Hussain, Dr. Murtaza Malik and Dr. Aqib Lone assisted by the Magistrate Subash Kumar Badyal and Sub Inspector Deepak Kumar today seized five dental clinics in Agoo Market, Gudhali Chowk, Bazar Masjid Chowk, Semna colony and Om Mehta road that are running illegally and in violations of the rules and regulations.
Speaking to "Early Times" the Magistrate accompanied with the sealing team said that the sealing was done on the directions of the High Court added that they have so far seal 5 dental clinics added that the drive will remain continue till all the illegally functional dental clinics will be sealed.
Dr. Waseem Kamal said that Dr. Ramesh Singh, Principal Government Dental College who is the president of Jammu and Kashmir State Dental Council has directed them to seal the illegally running dental clinics by doctors, technicians or any other unauthorized person.
He said that the people should verify the credentials of dental clinics before visiting to these clinics. He said that many of such clinics has become the cause of deadly diseases like Hepatics B and other blood born diseases. He said that they have a to applied for the proper registration of the clinics before the dental council.
