| AJKHGWA extends welcome to new Governor | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: All J&K Home Guards Welfare Association led by its President Kamla Sharma extended heartiest welcome to the newly appointed His Excellency the Governor Satya Pal Malik who has recently taken over a Gracious Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state. The Association is hopeful of the new Governor will redress their genuine grievances for which they have been fighting since long.
The association has further stated that the previous administration/ Government have totally failed implement the Supreme, High court of India and nevertheless Home Department of India has been disregarded and it is beyond our apprehension that there left no other agency have not been honoured due to which the poor Home guards are still facing lot of hardships. She has further said that recently the Government raised the slot of pay raising the amount from 545/- to 27/00/-,but such step is goo meager to run the domestic system at the present time. Besides the depuration has recently met with the Advisor to the Governor Vijay Kumar he pertinently and assured that our grievances shall be meted out within a shortest possible time but till date nothing has been done positive in this regard. It is our burning demand that we may be paid for the full month as they attend the full month duty Besides there is usual break after every 6 years which is injustice with the employee which may also be stopped. |
