JKFMHWWA stages protest demonstration

JAMMU, Aug 29: Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Worker Welfare Association (JKFMHWWA) today staged protest demonstration at Dy. CMO office Jammu.
The dharna was staged to show solidarity with the demand of workers for permanent solution of their demands including.
The JK female multipurpose Health workers welfare association of Jammu District protest strongly, and locked Dy. Chief Medical Officer Jammu Dr. M.Y Khan and Dr. L.D Bhagat Astt Director Family Welfare in the chamber of Dy. Chief Medical Officer, Jammu accordingly.
Their demands included delinking the CSS salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking) and release the pending salary since March 2018, job functions of FMPHWs must be fixed at par other working categories of health sector, up gradation for the post of FMPHW on the analogy of Pharmacist, Lab. Tech. X-Ray Tech, Dental Tech. and Ophth. Tech, creation of post of LHVs in New PHCs, seniority list of FMPHWs be published in the Official website of the Health Department for bringing transparency in promotions, 50% quota to be allotted in favour of trained LHVs at par with MMPHSs promoted as Health Educators beside others.
