Jammu, Aug 29: Sumit Kumar Sah and Rahul Sharma, two brilliant alumni & entrepreneurs of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra are ready to rock education sector with an education start-up, namely EngiGyan. Believing that, education should be easily accessible to society, the engineers duo with the help of SMVDU Technology Business Incubation Center (TBIC) developed EngiGyan, an online education platform, with an aim to redesign the education process from the scratch, and to revolutionise the entire learning process. This platform will help working professionals to boost their professional and technical skills in computer, civil and mechanical engineering. Previously, the concept of EngiGyan was the winner of the 2nd National Business Plan competition in the year 2016 held in University of Jammu, and further selected by SMDVU-TBIC in innovation challenge 2018, powered by DST, GOI. The SMVDU-TBIC nurtures innovations, provides financial as well as legal support and helps entrepreneurs develop technology-based ideas into independent self-sustaining businesses, reported Dr. Swarkar Sharma, CEO, SMVDU-TBIC. |
