JAMMU, Aug 29: Once again the Government Medical College and Hospital landed into a controversy after finding a man under mysterious circumstance near to mortuary of the hospital but GMC Jammu didn't get any clue as to who left the man die there without informing the concerned authority.
Here it needs to be mentioned that an ambulance driver, who is running a private ambulance, had found an abandoned man, who was lying on a trolley, near the hospital mortuary on Monday and admitted him to the hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, the Principal of the Medical College and Hospital issued inquiry order by making a committee and asked them to take the help of CCTV footage to know the person who left him on the trolley near the morgue.
"But surprisingly the hospital's management has failed to get any clue from the CCTV footage because the CCTV near morgue was not working as internet service was snapped at that time, "An official, seeking anonymity told Early Times. The official further claimed that during the preliminary inquiry by the some of the hospital's officials have suggested that it is a pre-planned incident to leave him near morgue to save himself from legal action.
"The officials are working on some questions viz who left him abandon him near the mortuary of the hospital instead of near the emergency, is there any propaganda to tarnish the image of the hospital, if the abandon patient was lying there for some minutes then why not hospital administration was informed by the employees, who are working at mortuary, and why a person, who claim himself social worker and running ambulance, reach on the spot before administration, where this types of incident take place ? And they are working many more question, "the officials divulged.
