CTF felicitates Commissioner JMC, VC JDA

JAMMU, Aug 30: Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) held a function today to felicitate Arvind Kotwal, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and PS Rathore, Vice Chairman (VC) Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
Heads of various trade bodies besides luminaries from banking sector were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Neeraj Anand, president CTF and Vice President Confederation of All India Traders said that people of Jammu have very high hopes from these two important civic bodies especially after beginning of smart city project.
Sharing concerns of the business community with the dignitaries, Neeraj said, "We believe that Government authorities would also take viewpoint of trade leaders and suggested that a coordination committee be formed to effectively roll out the new parameters as per master plan."
Arvind Kotwal in his address assured the gathering that his department will surely take into consideration the genuine concerns of the public while implementing policies; he however added that as public servants we have our own limitation.
P S Rathore dwelled upon role of JDA and also shared concern with regard to land grabbing. He invited suggestions from the gathering for improving the working of JDA so that public is served better.
