Hiranagar emerges winner of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Football

Kathua, Aug 31: Zone Hiranagar emerged the winner of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Football where Kathua won the title of Volleyball in the inter Zone District Level Tournament organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports Kathua witnessed the competitions of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi Volleyball and Football for under 19 years girls at Sports Stadium Kathua.
The tournament is being organised under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Subash Chander Bhardwaj. A total of 135 girls of District participated on the second consecutive day of tournament.
Today's matches were officiated by Gopal Dass, Sukhram, Naveen Singh, Parveen Singh, Maheshwar Dutt, Kewal Krishan, Kajal Premi. ZPEOs Pardeep Singh, Sukesh Kumar, Yog Raj Sharma, Mohan Lal, Ganesh Dass, activity in-charges Dharminder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, and Mohinder Paul, Ram Paul, Rakesh Kumari, Ajay Kumar, Jyoti Devi were also present on the occasion. Kabaddi, Zone Hiranagar defeated the host Zone Kathua by 3 points. Earlier, Kathua outplayed Billawar by 17 points and Hiranagar outplayed Basohli by 6 points,
Kho-Kho, Zone Hiranagar again defeated Kathua by 9 points. Earlier, Kathua outplayed Basohli by 9 points.
Volleyball, Kathua smashed Basohli by 2-1 sets in final match. Earlier, Kathua outplayed Billawar by 2-0 sets.
Football, Hiranagar crushed Basohli by 1-0 goals in final match. Earlier, Hiranagar outplayed Kathua by 2-0 goals.
