Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Sept 2: In a brazen official misconduct, the zonal education officer Thathri Chowdhary Mir Ali has mocked at the system by canceling the order issued from ZEO Office dated 01-9-2018 vide order dated 31-8-2018 which clearly shows that the order issued was cancelled in back date.
According to the details available with "Early Times", on 1-09-2018, ZEO Thathri had gone to attend a meeting called by Deputy Commissioner Doda and the orientation program for the survey of CWSN Children under IED was scheduled for 2nd September 2018 for which the teachers were to be deputed from ZEO Office Thathri.
As it was not possible to get the order signed by ZEO concerned, the Accounts Assistant Mohammad Umran Zarger and Zonal Coordinator Rakesh Kumar Shavan prepared the list of teachers and deputed them for training as well as survey and signed the order dated 01-9-2018 then circulated in social networking site official whatsapp groups after following proper procedure.
The reports said that when ZEO Thathri found that his blue eyed teachers were missing in the list, he prepared another order in back date 31 August 2018 and added his favourite teachers replacing some other teachers and again circulated it in the whatsapp groups. The ZEO did not stop here and modified the order third time and sought explanation from the Accounts assistant Mohammed Umran Zarger and and IED coordinator Rakesh Kumar Shavan for signing the order without his approval and treated their order dated 01-9-2018 as null and void under his seal and signature in advance date I.e. 31 August 2018.
It is pertinent to mention here that currently some video clips are circulating in social media in which a poor Labourer is claiming that the official has taken Rs. 20000 for appointing his wife and son as cook and CPW by telling them that they would get Rs.5000 and Rs.3300 as salary per month respectively.
In another video the students of GMS Phagsoo along with parents are seen shouting slogans against ZEO Thathri for his mismanagement besides this the teachers have also complained about the said ZEO several times with the higher authorities, but all the matters have been hushed up without any probe.
Speaking to Early Times, the teachers working in the zone called upon the higher authorities to order probe into the misconduct by the ZEO Thathri and the allegations leveled against him by the poor family.
