| 'Influential' ARTO unwilling to take Doda charge, work suffers | | |

JAMMU, Sept 3: An allegedly influential ARTO who had been enjoying "plum postings" during the PDP-BJP regime in the last three odd years is now unwilling to work at the new place of posting.
Officials said the ARTO had been enjoying only the "best of postings" during the previous regime.
But after Governor-rule, "complaints against him" had come to the notice of the Raj Bhawan. Official said he was transferred to Doda.
"Though around a week has passed since then the official is unwilling to join the new place of posting and wants another 'favorable posting'," said a source on the Transport Department.
Meanwhile the work Is getting hampered in Doda region in the wake of absence of ARTO.
The Doda residents have appealed Governor SP Malik to personally look into the matter. |
