| BJP coterie under scanner for swindling Kargil election funds | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 5: After shameful defeat of the party in Kargil Council elections, infighting in the state unit of BJP has started with some senior leaders alleging swindling of funds by a coterie, which is running party's affairs these days.
Credible sources said that this coterie had convinced the central leadership that BJP would emerge as kingmaker in the Kargil Council elections provided high command would ensure enough funding. It was all due to this assurance of this coterie that BJP high command has pumped huge funds amounting crores and crores to make history in Kargil Council elections.
Credible sources said that instead of properly utilizing this whopping amount, this coterie spent huge portion of these funds in providing luxurious to the leaders who campaigned there.
Sources further said that instead of establishing contact with common masses of Kargil, BJP leaders only clicked pictures in the open spaces and uploaded same on social media to befool the high command.
Credible sources further said that huge chunk of funds released by the high command for Kargil poll was swimdled by the coterie.
