JAMMU, Sept 7: J&K Branch of NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a seminar on various topics i.e. HUF & Tax Planning, Restrictions of Cash transaction under income Tax Act, Corporate Reporting & Standards on Auditing.
Tax Guru, CA. Girish Ahuja deliberated at length on the Hindu succession Act, & Formation & partition of HUF, rights of coparceners with stress on right of daughters in the HUF.
He also deliberated on restrictions of Cash transaction under income Tax Act. CA. Amarjit Chopra (Past President ICAI) apprised the members on Corporate Reporting & Standards on Auditing. The guest speakers also addressed the queries & issues of Chartered Accountants with regard to their respective subject matters.
CA. Ajay Gupta, Chairman of the branch welcomed the guests & the members & gave a brief introduction of the relevant topics of the seminar.
CA. Shalay Razdan, Vice-Chairman of the Branch while delivering the inaugural address, introduced the guests & also presented the formal vote of thanks.
CA. Anish Abrol, Secretary, CA. Jatinder Jaswal, Treasurer & CA. Ashwani Khajuria Executive Committee Member, were also present along with host of members & students who had participated overwhelmingly in the seminar. |
