All is not well in BJP, MLAs' anger brewing against leadership
9/7/2018 11:40:16 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 7: All is not well in the BJP because many party MLAs are not happy with the style of function of the present leadership, which is running affairs of the party. BJP, which is trying to form government with the support of MLAs of other parties, is confronting with the problem of revolt within own party. Anger among party MLAs against incumbent leadership is brewing with every passing day.
Sorry state of affairs in the BJP was exposed during meeting of party legislators on August 30 when nine MLAs skipped the meeting. BJP is finding it difficult to keep its own flock together. Nearly half a dozen 'sulking' party legislators were in touch with other political parties to explore possibility of shifting loyalties before the next Assembly polls.
Many legislators are not happy with the style of functioning of the incumbent leadership of the party, sources said, added that many mass base leaders have been sidelined in the party. MLA R S Pura Gagan Bhagat has already revolted against party and veteran politician, former forest minister and MLA from Basohli, Choudhary Lal Singh has already stepped up his political activities under the banner of his organization Dogra Swabhiman Sangthan, which was floated on July 22.
