Jammu, Sept 9: J&K Punjabi Sahit Sangam Jammu conducted the Executive Committee Meeting at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Digiana (Jammu) and decided to conduct Literary- cum- cultural event on 12th September, 2018 at Digiana Ashram, Digiana, Jammu.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rajpaul Singh Mastana, President, J&K Punjabi Sahit Sangam. Executive committee members Prof. Hardev Singh, Hardeep Singh Deep, Himanshu, Suraj Ratan, Harjit Singh Nagra, Sarabjit Singh and Pargat Singh attended the meeting. It was decided that three Punjabi short stories would be read out by Dr. Baljeet Raina, Jang S. Verman and Hardeep Singh Deep, well known three Punjabi short story writers of Jammu. Kavita Paath would be a part of the meet in which well known Punjabi poets of Jammu will present their poetry. A short musical programme will also be presented on this occasion. In his address S. Rajpaul Singh Mastana said that the Sangam is contributing in the promotion of Punjabi literature and culture through various activities. During the past it has organized many Mushiaras, literary programmes, publication and release of Punjabi books and cultural programmes etc. |
