TJAC slams casual approach of Government
Strike enters 11th consecutive day

JAMMU, Sept 9: Indefinite Chain Hunger Strike Of Teachers' Joint Action Committee (TJAC) entered 11th consecutive Day at Jammu and 7th Day at Srinagar and they slammed that casual approach of the State Government towards them.
The teachers who were on the 24 hour fast on the 9th Day of chain Hunger strike included Najam Jafari State senior vice chairman JKRETTF, Muhammad Yousaf Shah zonal president , Ajaz Ahmed Dar, Mukhtar Khawaja, Ikram Ul Haq Kholi , Amir Ud din Dar, Zaheer Ahmed, Tahir Malik, Iqbal Malik, and Iftakar Dar.
A large number of teachers on the occasion also held a strong sit in protest demonstration on the 11th day against the casual approach of the government towards SSA teachers and masters who have been deprived of 7th Pay Commission till date and their salaries have not been delinked.
Addressing the gathering at Jammu Vinod Sharma lambasted the government over its non seriousness towards SSA teachers and masters whose families are living in mental trauma. He said that due to the casual approach of the government these teachers are unable to provide proper facilities to their families including proper food and clothing to their children and required medicines to their ailing parents.
He appealed the governor administration to intervene in this regard and issue order regarding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in their favour without any further delay to avoid any more confrontation with the nation builders otherwise they will be forced to further intensify the stir and for any law and order problem issue in coming days government would be personally responsible.
Ganesh Khajuria speaking on the occasion appealed all the teachers to be united under the banner of TJAC (Teachers' Joint Action Committee) and support the ongoing indefinite Chain Hunger Strike at, Press Club Jammu and Partap Park Srinagar and he made it clear that TJAC will continue the indefinite Chain Hunger Strike till the government issues order of implementation of 7th pay commission.
