Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 9: In brazen violation of the orders of the Governor on revoxation of attachments in all government departments, there are number of doctors actually posted at different health institutes but continue to enjoy favorable attachment.
An official, seeking anonymity said the Government of Jammu and Kashmir had issued a circular vide no 22 GAD of 2018, dated 06-07-2018, states that all employees presently on attachment with their respective or other departments would be repatriated to their parent organization with immediate effect.
"For example, a Medical Officer, who had been posted a Primary Health Centre by the health department in the interest of patient care but the doctor, has managed to attachment in District Hospital Samba and working there for last five months which is the clear violation of the government orders, "the official claimed.
The official stated that a number of times the matter of attachment of the said doctor has been brought into the notice of the concerned higher authorities but all in vain.
Besides, the officials informed that there more 15 employees have been attached in the district hospital Samba but when the matter has been taken the higher ups claimed that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Samba the aforesaid employees are working in the hospital.
Criticizing concerned officials of the Health Department for neglect of primary health institutes, the official the many primary health centers are facing the acute dearth of staff, as these centers are running with few employees.
But few doctors, having links with higher officials of the same department, are enjoying choicest post despite government order.
Deputy Commissioner Samba Sushma Chouhan was not available for comments.
