| Udhampur declared open defecation free, 75000 toilets constructed | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 10: This day has become now the memorable day for the entire Udhampur, the district with construction of 75000 toilets in all 230 panchayats has become Open Defecation Free (ODF), by District Administration Udhampur here today.
The district has registered 100 per cent physical achievement in Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen (SBM-G) with the construction of these 75000 toilets.
All the families identified in the survey were provided toilet units under a well targeted and convergent campaign involving rural communities and government departments.
To celebrate the occasion an Programme was organized by the District Administration, here at Conference hall. Deputy commissioner, Ravinder Kumar, SSP udhampur Rayees Bhat marked the celebration by cutting a cake on this occasion many District heads of Different department participated in said celebration and congratulated the Deputy commissioner for achieved an grand succes. |
