PM Modi may trifurcate J&K in next one or two months?
Big development

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sep 10: If true, it is a great development. A report based on "credible sources in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may change the political map of Jammu & Kashmir by dividing it and creating three Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
The report has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very serious about Jammu & Kashmir and he wants to resolve the J&K issues before the general elections of 2019. "That Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to resolve the Jammu & Kashmir problem could be gauged from the fact that he wants to resolve the Jammu & Kashmir issues during his first term itself. It is possible that he may himself in a month or so declare division of Jammu & Kashmir into three parts. According to top sources in the PMO, Narendra Modi Government is working out a scheme that would lead to the state's trifurcation. If all goes well, the Jammu & Kashmir's map would be changed and Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh would be created as Union Territories".
The report has further said that "division of Jammu & Kashmir will lead to the resolution of many problems. The BJP knows that it can't form government in the state on its own and that it has to depend either on the PDP or the NC if it wants to share power in the state. Under such a situation, the BJP can't abrogate Article 370. An officer in the PMO claims that the Narendra Modi government will divide the state before the general elections of 2019. There is the possibility of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself making an announcement to the effect that Jammu & Kashmir will be divided into three Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh".
According to the report, "if the Prime Minister divides Jammu & Kashmir into three Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh before the general elections, the BJP will not only replicate 2014 in Jammu and Ladakh but would also gain across the nation" and that "the BJP will win the elections hands down and get 2/3rd majority in the Lok Sabha".
