BVP branch organizes Guru Vandana Chhatra Abhinandan

JAMMU, Sept 11: BVP Talab Tillo branch organized Guru Vandana Chhatra Abhinandan at JK Montessorie British School here today.
The program was organized to realise the impact of Guru (Teacher) in a student's life and to improve today's Educational system and to inculcate moral values among the students.
The programme started with chanting of Gayatri Mantra followed by lighting of traditional Lamp by members of BVP. The main motive of this programme is to strengthen in the minds of children, the idea of respecting their parents and teachers, whose blessings will enable them to be successful in life.
The most important aspect of the programme that makes it a special one is that the students are encouraged to take the blessings of teachers and parents by touching their feet. This is extremely important to redevelop the fast deteriorating teacher - student relationship and inculcate humbleness in the mind of children.
Teachers of different schools namely Co - operative public school, Govt. girls higher secondary school Nowabad, Flower kids nurcery school, kids heaven school, J K Montessorie British School, Mount Litera Zee School Bohri symbolically honoured with garlands of flowers and putting up Tilak and in turn, the teachers gave the student's books as gifts.
Rajeev Bhardwaj ji (President Talab Tillo Branch) said that the role of Guru is very important in students life. He spoke eloquently on the importance of Indian culture, greatness of Guru and worth of blessings for the students. Savita Gupta Branch treasurer, Alok Sharma branch secretary, Director Academics Rajni Gupta, Geeta Dixit was also present.
