Senior officers fail to take action against influential Ranger

Jammu, Sept 11: More skeletons started trembling out from the cupboard of unabated corruption in forest department as already under scanner Ranger for various misdeeds, own two willow factories in the name of his wife in Govindsar area of Kathua.
If sources are to be believed, the Ranger is running two willow factories in the name of his wife at Govindsar.
It seems that the influence of the Ranger is so high that senior officials of Forest Department failed to take action against him despite several complaints and FIRs while he is also running willow factories in the name of his wife.
If sources are to be believed, the said ranger is openly running two factories in Govindsar area in the name of his wife and there are numerous complaints and FIRs registered against the said Ranger whereas there some serious complaints registered against him.
"The influence of the Ranger in question can be gauged from the fact none of the senior officials of the Forest Department dared to act against him", said a source adding that senior have full knowledge of his wrongdoings but they hesitate to take action against him owing to his influence.
Sameer Bharti- Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu while talking to Early Times confessed his long stay at particular place but also expressed his helplessness about the long stay of the official in particular place and said that might be he is holding the place with some government order.
He further said that he has no knowledge of other wrong doing of the Ranger in question and said that he had heard from someone about the said Ranger but can confirm it after checking the record.
