SDM South holds redressal camp, issues 109 PRCs

JAMMU, Sept 12: A camp for issuing Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs) in favour of residents of Sub Division Jammu South was organised by Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu south, Kulbhushan Khajuria in which around 109 Permanent Resident Certificate files were cleared on the 3rd of the camp whereby, 677 PRCs were issued and proper guidance about the documents required for permanent resident certificate was given.SDM during the camp listened to the grievances of common people and solved most of them on the spot and asserted that time and again, revenue officials have been issued strict instructions, not to demand any type of bribe in lieu of forwarding the PRCs files to the next higher offices. He appealed the public, not to offer any type of bribe to any official for recording of statements in their files and other revenue related documents. He assured that the public services in respect of all the Tehsils shall be delivered as per Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011 and such type of public grievances redressal camps shall be organised in the future as well. Tehsildar and all Naib-Tehsildar of Sub Division South were also present in the camp.
