SAMBA, Sept 12: MV International School hosted Inter School Zonal level under 19 Sports event organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, Samba (DYSSO). 141 boys from eight schools participated in Kho Kho, Kabbadi, Volleyball and wrestling events. K L Dogra, Principal of the school addressed the teams. Indu Kapoor, Administrator declared the events open in the presence of ZPEO Ashok Kumar.
Results: Volleyball - In the final match MV International School team defeated team of HSS Jakh by 2-1. Kho-kho - Final match was played between HSS Vijaypur and HSS Jakh in which HSS Vijaypur won by 6 points. Kabbadi - In the final match Bhargwa Public School defeated HSS Rahya by 06 points.
Wrestling - Wrestling finals were won by HSS Jakh. Officials present during the event were Ram Parsad, Karmat Ali, Dalbir Singh, Mohinder, Muneer, Joginder, Raju, Jyoti, Rajni, Kiran Bala, Madhuri, Sunil, Sanjay Gupta, Rampaul, Tarsem Lal. |
