Constitutional bodies under threat
NDA RULE - II Modi Regime
R.B. Suri9/15/2018 10:39:27 PM
NDA Rule-I was the excellent period when the 'Hirday Samrat' Atal ji governed this nation as the Prime Minister (1999 to 2004) with the support of more than 20 political parties of the country with his great caliber and expertise. The people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir rate his period of governance as the best one whichever remained so far as the general masses of the valley particularly rated him as the best Prime Minister of the country. During his time as the Prime Ministership, National Conference led by Dr. Farooq Abdullah remained as the NDA partner from 1999 to 2002 in which his son Omar Abdullah was the MOS in Atalji's cabinet. It was during Atalji's time, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed formed the Coalition Government in the state with the support of Indian National Congress(INC)
'HirdaySamrat' Atal ji's government really faired well and delivered the goods to the people in the right earnest. At that point of time, Atalji did not allow the RSS people to interfere in his governmental affairs. Their intervention remained as the negligible one because of which the Muslim minority of the country had developed the true faith over him particularly in the valley. It was believed that RSS Hqr Nagpur was not happy with the working of the Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee but it was he, who commanded the respect and honour from the general masses of the valley. Even after his death, the leadership of the valley centric political parties and the various trade organizations mourned his death and paid their rich tributes to him. They described Atal Behari Vajpayee as their true friend and the most trusted leader of the country who took various steps in building the good relations with Pakistan.
Since 2014, NDA Rule-II under the Prime Ministership of Narender Modi is going the dictatorial way as the opposition political parties are fragmented totally and their numbers in the Lok Sabha are inadequate to give the befitting reply to the mids deeds and the inactions of Modi government. Without any fear, Prime Minister Narender Modi is having the free field in marching ahead with his adamancy and the authoritarian way of functioning at the centre. Just recollect your memories, it is important to mention here that in Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Narinder Modi's charisma prevailed all over the country and finally BJP on its own remained successful in attaining the absolute majority in the Lok Sabha and its strength of MPs crossed more than 336 under the banner of NDA and its opponent political parties and their allies could not even cross 100 MP seats in Lok Sabha and rather INC and its partners reduced to the skeleton under UPA. The reason was that UPA-II was hit with the various scams as also and its government was the total failure and unstable. Having seen no positive results due to the Demonetization of the currency notes of Rupees 500 and Rs. 1000 and the implementation of the GST in the country, the people of the country are showing their great resentment against Modi government which is increasing day by day. Due to the Demonetization of the currency notes of rupees 500 and 1000 done by Modi government in the country in 2016, the Banking sector was hit badly to the large extent resulting which the banks were facing the liquidity problems as was evident from the fact that these days almost all the ATMs went dry across the country were generally empty with the result people faced many a problems due to the non availability of cash resulting which, more than 200 people lost their valuable lives because of the faulty decision taken by Modi sarkar on this score. At the moment INC is gaining the momentum across the country which is of a great concern for them in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections in May, 2019. It has increased its numbers in Lok Sabha from 44 to 63 which is remarkable indeed. On the contrary, BJP numbers stand decreased from 289 to 272 in Lok Sabha which clearly shows that its popularity is declining day by day to the maximum extent which is certainly considered as a big jolt to BJP.
On the RSS dictates from Nagpur, Modi government is pumping RSS oriented officers to various Constitutional bodies in governing and controlling their affairs fully thereby making the authority erosions in these bodies.Under the ongoing Modi regime, various Constitutional bodies are under a big question mark of threat to their very existences as their functioning's are being controlled by the Union Government led by Narender Modi and their powers are being diluted to the maximum extent. Their authorities erosions are on the cards and they are being governed by the Central Government indirectly. These Constitutional bodies are :- RBI, NABARD, ECI, CAG, GST National Council, Apex Court, NIA, CBI etc. etc. Here, I would like to mention here that on the Demonetization of currency notes of Rs . 1000 and Rs. 500, Modi government had not allowed Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to act freely and independently and its Governor was totally sidelined as it had not happened earlier after the country attained the Independence in 1947.
Another, important instance is there that in the independent judicial history of the country, the lordships of the Apex Court had not come openly in addressing the Press Conference and that too in its premises and made the allegations against their Chief Justice and the Government of India. Thank God, it was settled in a short span of time otherwise, it was a big challenge to the working of the Judiciary in the country. At the same time, it is very essential to describe here that every now and then, there is an interference in the working of the Apex court as has been witnessed in the case of Article 35A pending for adjudication. The Apex Court should be given the free hand to deal with the matter firmly but frequent interventions by the GOI was observed these days. When the hearing in the case was started last year, the Union Government prayed before the Apex Court that the hearing in the said case be deferred in view of the fact that it had appointed an Interlocutor Daneshwar Sharma for cinching the Kashmir issue and at present more than a year or so has passed, Daneshwar Sharma had not be able to crack the hard nut - Hurriyat Conference as yet. The Apex court agreed to the contention made by the GOI before it and deferred the hearing for long. The said case was listed for August 6 and was further deferred for August 31 for hearing by the Apex court. This time again, the Governor's Administration prayed before the Apex court that hearing in the said case be deffered further as the State Government is conducting the Municipal and Panchayat Polls in the months of October, November and December this year in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Apex court accepted the prayer of the State Government and deferred the hearing further in the case and the said case is to be listed for further hearing in the second week of January next year. These are considered as the various hindrances in the speedy disposal of the case in the right earnest.RSS terms itself as an apolitical organization in the country but as per the well considered opinion of some political experts, it is not true. It is a hard fact that it is a political body indeed in the sense that it produces the leaders for the BJP only in order to implement the various strategies in the length and breadth of the country. It is quite obvious that there are chances of establishing of Authoritarian Rule in the country in place of the well established parliamentary system of governance in the country. There are numerous prestigious institutions in the country like IITs, IIMs, BITS , Symbiosis, Thappar Institute, TCS, Wipro etc. etc. which produce the thousands of the best talented youth in the fields of Engineering , Technology, Management. They are free to chose their career with any of the leading concern related to their fields. But reverse is the case in respect of RSS because of the fact that it produces the leaders but an embargo is there upon them to swim with one political organization - BJP only. This is very strange indeed. That is why it is said that RSS is a political organization. The biggest parliamentary democracy of the World is going to the parliamentary poll after eight months as the under the dashing leadership of Narender Modi as the Prime Minister of India. The present government is completing its full term in May next year. For the success of the Parliamentary Democracy in the country, it is essential that there should be a strong system of check and balance that means that the existence strong opposition is must. A need of the hour is that there should be some unity among the other Political Parties besides Congress, of course in giving the tough resistance to Modi lest he be not turned as a Dictator . In order to check the further advancement of Prime Minister Narender Modi, the opposition political parties in the country apart from INC have already started thinking afresh for the unity finally as also for forming the Third Front / Grand Alliance. If NDA is to give a befitting fight in the Lok Sabha elections -2019, there should be a strong unity among the opposition political parties. Divided opposition can't face the BJP. It is very serious matter of concern for the opposition political parties.
Two days back only the KINGFISHER don Vijaya Malaya briefed the International print and electronic media at London (UK) that before leaving India, he had met the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on March 1 and requested him for the early settlement of the fraud case amounting to more than 9000 crores. He made this disclosure specifically that Jaitley did not respond positively resulting which he fled to London on March 2 and the public came to know about his leaving India on March3 only. Why Jaitley concealed all this from the nation and why he had not shared this information with CBI or Enforcement Directorate or the Intelligence Agencies of the country. This is a million dollar question for which Jaitley has to respond? CBI is a constitutional body- Furnishing no information to it about KINGFISHER don Vijaya Malaya tantamount to its authority erosion by the Modi government. Likewise all other Constitutional Bodies are facing threats to their existences during Modi regime.
Now the onus is on the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to clarify all the details as to why the grounds were made to help Vijaya Malaya to go scot free from India? All these things are leading to the remote chances for Narender Modi to win the Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
