Offices in 4 districts locked, employees enjoying in Jammu
State Unit of FOB hell bent to fail its objective

Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 18: Defeating the purpose of disseminating information and awareness regarding various public welfare schemes of Government of Indian among the masses in the rural pockets especially at the grass root level, the Field Outreach Bureaus in four districts have been locked and the Field Publicity Assistants and Technical Assistants, who are appointed there have been enjoying their stay in Jammu under the patronage of some senior officials.
Sources told Early Times that Field Publicity Units called as Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) have been set up in almost all the districts of the state and to run its affairs, Field Publicity Assistants have been appointed there for conducting awareness activities among people particularly of the rural areas about number of centrally sponsored public welfare schemes and programmes schemes meant for public welfare and upliftment.
"But some officials are sabotaging its very purpose for their personal benefits which can be well assessed from the fact that offices in four districts including Rajouri, Doda, Anantnag and Udhampur remain locked and the Field Publicity Assistants and Technical Assistants, are sitting in Regional office at Jammu," setting aside all the officials rules and regulations" they alleged. "These officers remain at the beck and call of their bosses and ignore their actual work" they added.
"They have been staying in Jammu ranging from 1-4 months and interfering in the work of the officers posted in Jammu by brushing them aside from the all projects with the influence of their bosses, which is brewing resentment among the others," they added further.
The office of Field Publicity Unit in Rajouri is located near District Police Lines Rajouri (Opposite to DPL, Jamia Masjid) since years but it has been observed that the office remains closed all the time. Similarly the office in Doda which is situated at Bun Road, behind Treasury Office, Doda remains locked and hardly opens once in month, they informed.
