Early Times Report
jammu, Sept 20: A Non-State Subject has encroached the custodian land and raised construction over it allegedly with the help of some 'goons' and some government employees at Ramgarh in Samba district but interestingly the concerned higher authorities have remained nonchalant to the whole issue.
As per the copy of complaint forwarded to Tehsildar Samba, in possession of Early Times, Ramji Lal resident of MP State and working in Indian Railways, with the connivance of some goons and concerned government employees, has encroached Custodian land forcefully and illegally and raised construction over it near Railway Station Kali Badi Samba.
It further states that the matter was brought into the notice of concerned Inspector Custodian for verifying illegal possession of the said person on Custodian land but the official did not take any action.
Official sources of the department told that the concerned Inspector had already been suspended by the higher officials for wrongdoings. Official sources said that the accused had not only made violation of the Custodian Act but also violated Article 370 which restricts outsider to buy land in the State.
Deputy Custodian Samba Mansoor Paul admitted that the matter was under his notice and concerned Inspector was asked to verify the issue and then take necessary action in the matter.
