'Tears of widows, orphans will destroy you'

Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22: A day after Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists abducted and killed three Jammu and Kashmir policemen in cold blood in south Kashmir's Shopian district, a poster and videos slamming the terror outfit appeared in Pulwama and Shopian towns.
The poster, written in Urdu, has been issued by a little known outfit the Pulwama and Shopian Tigers. The poster asks the Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Riyaz Naikoo, and others to clarify their stand on the killing of policemen. It threatens to rise against Hizbul militants if they do not stop targeting policemen.
The poster also names some militants and their kin, who allegedly were working with the Jammu and Kashmir police. "Why is Naikoo not forcing these people to resign first and targeting poor people who are working just to feed their families," it asks.
The videos also pose similar questions to Naikoo. An unverified Facebook profile, with the name Bisma Shafiq, has also taken on the Hizbul, saying its struggle was "un-Islamic".
"The tears of the innocent widows, orphans, mothers and sisters of innocent policemen whom you murdered will destroy you and your ego very soon," reads the post.
"If you are a true mujahid then why don't you fight the armed forces. Why don't you go and attack army camps to take revenge of your martyrs," it adds.
The Hizbul Mujahideen, meanwhile, has stepped up its offensive against policemen on social media. The militant outfit released pictures of policemen and SPOs asking them to resign within two days or face the consequences.
The photos contain the names, designations and the localities of the police personnel. "It's your last day. Upload a video or you will be killed very soon," reads one of the pictures of Mohammed Amin Kathroo, an SPO from Awantipora. All pictures flash the message, "sudhar jao warna head shot khawogay, (mend your way or you will be shot in the head)". The threats have been issued specifically to women SPOs and constables.
Reports claimed that more SPOs had announced their resignations on social media but there has been no confirmation. The home ministry has called such reports "false propaganda" and denied that there had been resignations.
