JAMMU, Sept 24: In 'Display Your Talent-2018-19' organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, competitions of Mime, Mimicry, Mono-Acting, Collage-Making and Cartooning were conducted at different venues at University of Jammu. Dean Students Welfare, Prof Parmeshwari Sharma, Prof S.K. Pandita, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, Prof Aarti Bakshi, Dr Anil Gupta, Dr Garima Gupta (Assistant Deans, Students Welfare), Dr.Vinay Thusso (PRO SW) and various faculty members, students and scholars of the University of Jammu were present during the events.
In Mime, The First Prize was won by of PG Integrated team. Second Prize was won by GCW, Parade and Third prize was won by GDC Akhnoor. Certificate of Merit was awarded to GDC, Kathua. In Mimicry, Hansja Sharma from Department of Zoology stood First, Mukesh Kumar and Gurbaksh Singh both from GDC Akhnoor secured Second & Third position. In Mono-Acting, First position was secured by Kajal Devi from GDC Doda, Second position was secured by Richa Sharma from Department of Physics, Third position was shared by Asif from GDC Doda and Suhaib from The Law School. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Shivata from GCW Parade and Areka from JIAR.
In Collage-Making, the topics given to the candidates were 'Harmony' & 'Diversity'. Aziz Verma from IMFA, Mohinder Kumar from GGM Science College and Parshottma Sharma from The Law School stood First, Second and Third respectively. The Certificate of Merit was awarded to Vikas Singh from IMFA.
In Cartooning, the topics given to the candidates were 'Campus Life', 'Traffic Scenario of Jammu' & 'Swachhta Abhiyan' Deepanshu Thakur from MIET, Mehak Sharma from Department of Physics and Mansi Devi from GDC Kathua stoof First, Second and Third respectively. The Certificate of Merit was awarded to Meenakshi Kumari from IMFA.
