Shaheen FC, J&K Bank Academy reaches Final of Tournament

Jammu, Oct 16: The Shaheen FC and Jammu and Kashmir Bank Academy reached final of the Chhatra Shaheed Memorial Football Tournament by wining semi final matches.
Two Semi-finals of the Chhatra Shaheed Memorial Football Tournament were played at GGM Science College Football ground. The 1st match was played between Shaheen FC and Vijay FC and Shaheen FC won the said match by 1-0.
The only goal was scored by Aashish Mehra in the 47th minute of the match. The 2nd Semi-final was played between Hero FC and J&K Bank Academy and J&K Bank Academy won the said match by 1-0. The only goal in this match was scored by Rajan Singh in the 20th minute of the goal. The first match was officiated by the referees namely Dheeraj Meenia as Centre Referee, Rahul Sharma and Ramesh Kumar as Assistant Referees and Suresh Gupta as Fourth Referee. The second match was officiated by the referees namely Suresh Kumar as Centre Referee, Rahul Sharma and Dil Bahadur as Assistant Referees and Honey Mehra as Fourth referee.
Kr. Ranvijay Singh, Great Grandson of His Highness Maharaja Hari Singh JI and son of Kumar Maharaj Ajaatshatru Singh was the Chief Guest of the 1st Semi-final and Gupta, Zonal Head of J&K Bank was the Chief Guest of the 2nd Semi-final of the tournament. The final match of the tournament shall be played on 17th of October at GGM Science College football ground sharp at 12:30 PM between Shaheen FC and J&K Bank Academy followed by the prize distribution. Some special dignitaries shall also be honoured on the occasion.
JJSF also arranged a Dogra Bhandara for the spectators which shall be served after the match.
Pushvinder Singh, President, JJSF and Chairman, Organising Committee appealed the general public to be present on the occasion to witness the fight between J&K Bank ACADEMY AND Shaheen FC during the final match of the tournament.
