Terrorists falling like lame ducks, Pak stooges in a fix

Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: Pakistan stooges in Kashmir and terrorist handlers sitting across the Line of Control are worried as the terrorists are falling like lame ducks.
Since the day Governor's rule has been imposed in Jammu and Kashmir terrorists are on the run. "The security agencies have been given a free hand to go after the terrorists. Government of India sidelining the Kashmir centric politicians has helped the security agencies to carry on with their operations without any interference," said an analyst.
On Wednesday Governor Satya Pal Malik made it clear that terrorists should not expect bouquets if they fire bullets. "Militants don't have much of a shelf life. More than 40 militants have been killed since August," the Governor Malik said.
A Kashmir watcher said the pro-active approach of the security forces has sent the alarm bells ringing within the terrorist ranks. "Kashmir centric politicians should sit back and introspect. The PDP during its tenure mishandled the situation in the Valley. They patronized those elements who propagated separatism and sedition," he alleged.
A politician said, "Pakistan stooges active in the Valley have been calling for shutdown every now and then to protest against the killing of local militants. Though their shutdown calls have not been evoking much response but they are leaving no chance to appease their bosses and terrorist handlers sitting across the Line of Control."
He said the terrorist handlers are feeling the pinch as the local recruitment has come down and the Pakistani terrorists are unable to infiltrate into this side due to robust counter infiltration grid being at place near the LoC. "Terrorists are getting killed in the mainland as well as the hinterland. Policy is clear if you fire bullets get ready to face them too," the politician added.
A defence analyst said that to get rid of 200 to 300 terrorists is no big deal for the country like India. "Terrorists and their handlers should stop showing big dreams to the people of Kashmir. No power on earth can snatch Kashmir from India. Pakistan fighting a proxy war in Kashmir has hit the people of Kashmir and they are the worst sufferers. If they continue to support the terrorists and the separatists their sufferings will never end," he added.
