Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 20: Despite General Administration Department (GAD) order to detach all the attached employees, the Zonal Education Officers (ZEO), Arnas of district Reasi is continuously ordering attachment of teachers that too, when Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is imposed in wake upcoming Panchayat election in the state.
Sources informed Early Times that the ZEO Arnas with vide order No. ZEO/A/Sangri /18 dated 16-10-2018 attached two influential teachers in the newly upgraded High School, Kanthi where classes are yet to be started.
The order read as utilization of services on temporary basis for the smooth functioning of newly upgraded under staff school- High School, Kanthi, two teachers, Mrs Darshana Devi of Primary school Thullikote and Narotam Thakur of Primary School, Sathraphabu are released and engaged at newly upgraded HS Kanthi for a period of one month as per the direction issued by worthy Chief Education Officers Reasi on dated 3-10-2018.
"But ironically, both the attached teachers are close relatives of incumbent Headmaster High School, Kanthi. One is wife and other one is brother of incumbent Headmaster of High School, Kanthi", alleged sources wishing anonymity.
Sources further said that these influential teachers having close proximity with power corridors have managed plum posting at choicest places that too at a time when MCC is imposed in the state.
"However, General Administration Department (GAD) published a circular with vide No. 22- GAD of 2018 dated 06/07/2018 wherein the concerned Additional secretary to the Government had directed to all department that all the employees who were attached in different departments should be detached and should join at his/her parental department by 16/07/2018.
"Unfortunately, the officials of education department of Reasi rather than detaching the attached officials are seems busy to order attachment of the influential ones who are closed to the power corridor", alleged sources.
