JTC, SKF hold meeting, criticizes State Govt

JAMMU, Oct 22: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held and they expressed their grave concern over the slackness of the authorities as well as Government to full fill the genuine demands of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community.
During meeting, they demanded that the return and permanent Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community in Kashmir Valley in 3 satellite townships near Srinagar Baramulla, Anantnag with grant of minority status / three assembly seats and one Parliamentary seat for this Kashmiri Pandit community, Implementation of Prime Minister's employment package for Kashmiri Pandit Migrant youth in letter and spirit by filling up remaining posts under this employment package, Grant of compensation of losses of properties suffered by the migrants in respect of and their properties situated in Kashmir valley at their native localities, Removal of encroachments of the private lands/properties as well as properties of religious shrines and places and others.
President Shadi Lal Pandita said that a detailed representation dated 25.07.2018 was made to the His Excellency The President of India Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Governor of J&K highlighting the genuine demands of the community which was forwarded to the secretary to Govt. Ministry of Home affairs vide PMOPG/D/2018/0278122 dated 02-08-2018 and the Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India had been kind enough to forward the representation to the Chief Secretary to Jammu and Kashmir Government vide No: 16030/1/2018-K3/4 V3/4 dated; 25-09-2018. He further said that an online representation dated 28.07.2018 was made to the Ministry of Home Affairs which too had been forwarded to the Chief Secretary Government of Jammu and Kashmir vide its No. 16030/1/2018-K3/4 V3/4 dated; 25-09-2018.
Others who were present in the meeting were Rajkumar Tickoo, Kashi Nath Bhat, Sunil Koul, Mithan Pandita, ML Amia, RK Raina, ON Raina, M.K. Bhat, Ramesh Kumar Bhat, CL Pandita, Vinod Bhat, HL Pandita, Raj Kumar Bhat, SL Bhat, Ravi Pandita, Satesh Kumar, Tej Krishan and others.
