Man murdered in KK Resorts, youth in Gharota

Jammu, Nov 8: A man who along with his relatives was staying in KK Resorts for marriage of his daughter, scheduled today, was allegedly murdered last night after he objected the nuisance created during a scuffle broke out between some outsiders, who came there to have drinks in KK Bar, and staff of the bar while police claimed to have arrested three accused in this connection.
Police sources said that yesterday Dilip Langar of Nagrota along with his relatives and friends was putting up in rooms meant for family members inside the resort as the marriage of his daughter was scheduled today and there is a bar adjoining these rooms which is available to outsiders for drinks.
Police sources further said that last night some outsiders had come to have liquor in the bar and under the influence of liquor they started arguments with staff of the bar which turned into scuffle.
"Later, the outsiders started using abusive language and following which Dilip reached there and requested them to not create nuisance as families are around. In the midst of the arguments, Langer was stabbed to death", said police sources.
Police said that a case under FIR no. 411/18 under sections 302/34 and 4/25 of Arms Act has been registered and arrested three accused. They were identified as Jodh Singh, Raku and Satin.
Meanwhile, following the alleged murder of a youth, locals of the area today staged a protest demonstration at Gharota area.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Jabbar (25) son of Abdul Gani, he was found murdered at Karwanda, Kanger Morh near bank of a pond.
Police sources said that intervening night one Bakarwal boy namely Abdul Jabbar was found murdered murder at Karwanda, Gharota and after getting the information police reached the sot and shifted the body to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for post mortem and other legal formalities.
Police said that in this connection, a case under FIR No. 109/2018 under section 302/34 of RPC has been registered and investigation has been taken up by Gharota police and during the course of investigation one suspect has been detained.
