DBN Vidya Mandir organizes Alumni Meet

Jammu, Nov, 11: Alumni are the true reflection and pride of an institution and a great source of inspiration for the young children. It is also a matter of pride for the old boys & girls to be proudly connected to their Alma Mater and a bridge between yesterday & today. An alumni meet was held at D.B.N.Vidya Mandir, Amarvilla, Jammu, with the Co-ordination of all the three branches of D.B.N.Vidya Mandir. It was the very special day for the D.B.N. family that Alumni meet, 2018 and the birthday of worthy Chairman Sir of D.B.N.Trust Virender Singh occurred on the same day. All the members of D.B.N. Family wish him a very Happy, Healthy & Prosperous long life.
The Principals of three branches i.e., D.B.N. Vidya Mandir Amarvilla, D.B.N. Mubarak Mandi, S.N.S.Vidya Mandir and teachers welcomed the former students who came from nook & corner of the city and the country to attend the meet. The formal session started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the senior most teachers Prem Rekhi & Sudarshan Mengi, popularly known as Sareen Ma'am.
Welcome speech was delivered by D.B.N.Manager Trust, Rajender Kakkar ji. Colourful cultural programmes like Welcome song, Guru Vandna, Solo Songs, Solo dances and Gidda added spice to the afternoon. There were games arranged for the guests. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks presented by D.B.N. Assistant Manager, Darshan Lal Sharma.
The efforts and arrangements made by the Principal Amarvilla Ms. Praveena Jha, Vice Principal Dr. Nitasha Bali, Principal, Mubarak Mandi Sonika Mahajan and Principal S.N.S, Ms.Puneet Kour as well as of all the teachers were applauded by one and all. It was time for farewell with a hope to meet next year.
