Vijaypur, Nov 12: President and Vice president Election was held at four municipal committees including MC Samba, MC Vijaypur, MC Ramgarh and MC Bari Brahmana in District Samba here today.
According to the report, independent candidate of ward No 10 Samba (Now Join BJP) Pawan Kohli elected as President of Municipal committee Samba whereas Kamer Singh from congress candidate of ward No 11 elected as Vice president. In the election of president and vice president 10 votes in favour of Pawan Kohli elected as president while Vice President Kamer Singh, got 10 votes. In which ADDC Samba Pankaj Magotra, Tehsildar Samba Aman Anand, DSP Samba Deepak Digra and Executive officer Municipal committee Samba Jodh Raj were present on this occasion. Similarly in Municipal committee Bari Brahmana Puran Chand from BJP elected as President got 8 votes out of 13 while Ramji Dass Sharma elected as vice president both from BJP. In Ramgarh Paramjit Singh Pamma of congress elected as President of Ramgarh Municipal Committee while Kamlesh Kumari of BJP elected as Vice President. In Vijaypur Deepak Kumar from BJP elected as President Municipal Committee Vijaypur while Ravi Kumar ward no 13 declared as Vice president. |
