Sources said that although some of the senior professors have been given more than due role and responsibilities in the form of additional charges there are many others who have been left high and dry. They said that senior professors should have been divested of additional charges and the positions should have been given to the other senior professors.

Sources said that Professor M Iqbal Mattoo, Head Department of Education also holds the position of Dean, School of Education & Behavioral Sciences., They said the Kupwara campus of University of Kashmir is without the Director since its inception and no attention whatsoever is paid towards the same.
Sources said that Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA) is run by senior assistant professors since 2015 as the position of Director at the cell is vacant.
