hiranagar, Nov 12: Bharatiya Janta Party's leaders don't leave any stone unturned to win Panchayat election even if they have to sideline Election commission's directions. The power of lust has crossed all limits to motivate voters towards party.
In Bhia Village, tehsil Hiranagar, the BJP workers are not leaving any stone unturned to violate code of conduct and to motivate people for casting votes in their favour. A person alleged on BJP Mandal Pradhan Hiranagar Sudesh Kumar Sethu is being provided electric polls to voters through his personal vehicles.
Pertinently, his wife is contesting from Bhia Panchayat, the poll of which is scheduled to be held in 6th phase on December 01. According to direction of Election commission, no contesting candidate or political party can provide beneficiary schemes to voters that would divert attention of voters.
People today seized a vehicle belonged to husband of contesting candidate of BJP that was loaded with electric polls and moved towards her constituency. Many such polls were provided earlier too.
Surinder Singh, Ex. Sarpanch of the Panchayat, accused the BJP of motivating the voters in lust of power and openly violating the code of conduct. He said that all these voters were missing and have ensured their presence from the day polls were announced.
People appealed SDM Hiranagar, CEO Kathua and BDO Hiranagar to take the matter serious and initiate serious action against violators.
